After more than two years of dodging the bastard coronavirus, my luck seems to have run out. My eight-year-old housemate brought the virus home from somewhere — school or Cub Scouts — and tested positive on Thursday.
Oh no! you were one of the last people I knew ( for some values of "to know") who had not gotten it. I hope you don't have it after all, or that if you do, it is mild.
Aha, okay. I left the Twitterverse a while ago, so I missed that.
Oh, I don't expect everyone to be on Twitter! I should have posted some updates here, but I was just too sick to be able to manage it.
How are you doing, MaryAnn? I hope you’re right as rain soon.
Ugh, I was too sick to update this, but I did document my illness on Twitter: https://twitter.com/maryannjohanson/status/1545695777829404673
Tweets were about all I could manage for the past two weeks. But I think I'm over it now.
Glad you’re better!

Nah, it was COVID. I tweeted about how "mild" it was: https://twitter.com/maryannjohanson/status/1545695777829404673
I wasn't hospitalized, but I was knocked flat for almost two weeks. I think I'm past it now. *fingers crossed*
