what I’m watching and bingeing
Star Trek: Strange New Worlds S2 [Paramount+ globally; via Prime US/Prime UK]: oh no, the season ends on a nailbiter of a cliffhanger!
Ted Lasso S3 [Apple TV+ globally]: the Amsterdam episode! such great stuff
Extrapolations [Apple TV+ globally]: watched all eight episodes of this global-warming sci-fi drama; they’re mini movies, really, interconnected but able to stand on their own, and while they’re a tad preachy and on-the-nose, they’re worth watching for a taste of what the coming decades may bring; the star-studded cast is pretty great, too
coming up at Flick Filosopher…
French drama Paris Memories (aka Revoir Paris)
alien-contact dramedy Jules
documentary Kokomo City
Barbie
Oppenheimer
Meg 2: The Trench
Joy Ride
tween classic onscreen Are You There, God? It’s Me, Margaret.
And more, including reviews of many of the other films I’ve been promising since forever, I’m sorry. :-(
