weekly digest: the email that almost wasn’t
the very little that happened at Flick Filosopher from Monday, February 12, to Sunday, February 18
I did so little this week at FlickFilosopher.com that I debated with myself whether it was even worth sending a Weekly Digest. I won the debate! So here it is, just so’s youse guys don’t all think I’ve died or something. 🙄
Reviews? I have a couple in progress, including Madame Web and (still!) Wonka. There’s a thing I need to write about the sorry state of movies and film criticism right now… which will include why (as you may have noted), I’ve changed the name of my streaming recommendations from Daily Stream to Curated Cinema (and it’s not just because I’ve been struggling to get them out daily, promise!).
There’s just so much to do, and not enough hours in the day, especially when some of those hours are spent trying to get my brain into gear. (I’ve also got a couple of non-film-related freelance editing jobs on at the moment.)
But it’s another Monday, and another attempt at a fresh start for me…
