Woman with a Movie Camera summit will be available globally!
get your ticket before 5pm UK time on Friday
Just a quick update to something I mentioned in the most recent weekly digest:
The British Film Institute’s Woman with a Movie Camera summit, at which I will appear on two discussion panels, has been un-geolocked. That means that anyone will be able to virtually attend from anywhere on the planet! (As long as you have a ticket, of course.)
My panels — “The Rise and Fall of the Girl Boss” and “Behind the Bylines: Times Up UK Critics Roundtable” — are virtual, online only, and will be available to view next weekend, July 17th–18th, along with a panoply of other wonderful talks and Q&As around the theme of “reframing the conversation around women and film.”
See the entire program and buy a ticket at the BFI’s site for the summit. Tickets for the full weekend of events are only £5 (£3 for BFI members), but you must buy a ticket before 5pm UK time on Friday. (Ticket sales will be suspended after that.)
In addition to the two prerecorded panels I’ll appear on, I will pop into the live Zoom socials on Saturday and Sunday afternoons.
Please join us!
